    Here's my prediction:

The final epsode will move toward some resolution of the issues put into play in the next-to-last episode, but a terrorist attack "resolves," shall we say, the fate of all (or most) of the key characters.

That particular plot thread has been left hanging out there – and was touched upon again Sunday – for a reason.

The whole Bing thing bothered me.

Sil should've had a weapon in hand with the situation the way it was.

Holing up in the office with some quality weapons until some reinforcements could arrive to escort the gang out of sight would've been the better move.

Someone on one of the Springsteen boards I frequent joked that Tony's going to replace Silvio with Nils Lofgren.

For those that don't know, Nils Lofgren replaced Steve Van Zandt in the E Street Band in 1984

So my wiseass comment about a car chase into the Lincoln Tunnel only to have terrorists blow it up while everyone is inside is still in play? ::) ;D

Great episode, never expected two guys to go (presuming Sil's a goner, too). I just wish whoever it was weeks ago with the Bobby spoiler would have been smarter with said info. I don't remember who did it, but it bothered me, knowing that Bobby was a goner the moment he walked into that store.

I forgot all about the Bobby spoiler. But as soon as you saw his cellphone ringing in the truck you knew he was a goner.

I don't understand why people think Walnuts has any connection with NY.

He was close to Johnny Sack. Thought Sack had pumped him up to Carmine. Talked to Carmine at the wedding and Carmine said "who the fuck are you?"

Walnuts knew then where his only semblance of a family was.

Also, T went to his ersatz mom's service.

It's fun to guess and contemplate. You're right though, it wouldn't make much sense. We're all likely way off from what the finale will have in store.

that's true. but who was calling him? was it sil and those guys after figuring that they fucked up the hit on phil?

my only prediction for next week is that regardless of whether tony lives, phil doesn't. chase obviously won't give us a happily ever after scenario - not even close - but surely he knows how unsatisfying it would be if some loser like phil, a bit character until the last couple of seasons, ultimately went out on top.

Paulie was tight with Johnny Sack. Johnny Sack was tight with Phil Leotardo. Phil hates Tony. Paulie might have a grievance with Tony. It's perfectly plausible that stupid, loudmoth Paulie might play both sides against each other.

Yeah, but mob life itself is full of former bit characters who get to or near the top.

    My endgame scenarios:

    1. Who has been the only person who has been Tone's friend without obligation? Agent Harris. Tony serves up the porterhouse, flipping to give Harris the career enchilada.

    2. Tony takes Phil and Butch out and takes over New York.

    3. Tony wakes up and is Finnerty, in an Alzheimer's-fueled comatose daze, talking to his wife about the dream he has had.

    4. He commits suicide. Not happening, but his wife hates him, his son is utterly worthless, his daughter is aligning herself to perhaps eventually prosecute people such as Tony. Sil and Chrissy are gone.

    5. Patsy Parisi offs Tony.

P.S.: Love that Imperiole is still in the credits.
