not to hijack but the one where they got locked in jail in the Old West ghost town was better. I even tried to eat beans out of my flashlight after that.

I doubt my own theory. There's an interview with one of the writers on Slate today who says the show creator "doesn't go for messages." So there.

    Someone's covering all his bases.

Terrorist attack takes out the Sopranos: HH says "I knew it!"

Nothing at all happens at the end: HH says "I knew it!"

    :D :D

I can guarantee this will happen Sunday: Someone will eat Italian food.

  5. People have been saying this on here for weeks, but I really saw the similiarities between Tony and A.J. and Tony's hypocrisy in this episode.

Tony blames missing meetings with Melfi on his "condition", which sounded a lot like A.J. two weeks ago blaming his behavior on his condition or his family.

And then Tony pulls the "you're ditching me just as my son tried to kill himself" card when Melfi sets him loose... sounding a lot like AJ when Tony tells him he has to be the man of the house while he's gone "I was having so much trouble maintaining."

There will not be a terrorist attack.
This is the story of Tony Soprano and his (rapidly crumbling) families. Chase will not stoop to some dumb trick ending.

I have no idea how this will end (rumor has it Chase shot 3 or 4 different final scenes) but I'm pretty sure I know how it wil NOT end...no terrorists, no dreams, no AJ "saving" Tony from anything.

    Esscence of management.

  8. I think the phrase "eating beans out of my flashlight" is destined to be a catchphrase.

He asked to order "ah pizz" which means a pizza, not "our eats".

Carlo said our "eats" or "meats".

My question is: Is Carlo Burt's brother (both last name Gervasi)?

How on earth could they keep Carlo around if that were the case?

    Simon,

I will guess that you are not Italian. When he asked Tony about food, he asked about ordering "ah pizz" not "eats" or "meats".

I am not Italian either. I played it back three times and never heard a ''p" sound. Will take your word for it. Sure sounded like "our eats" to the non-Italian ear.

But anyway, I was just getting in the spirit of over-analyzing every possible nuance of the show. I'm enjoying that this particular tangent lives on.
