Bubbler, I totally disagree. In a movie, something I've invested 2-3 hours in, that's OK. But not a show I've watched for 8 freaking years.

No offense, CR, but Chase doesn't give a shit.

He's been badgered for eight years about what to do and he's repeatedly shown he doesn't give a fuck.

I'm guessing that's going to come out in the ending. Like I said, don't be surprised to see a dream episode for the finale.

Maybe he doesn't care but if he pulls off a masterful finale, this show will go down as the GOAT of TV shows. If he bumbles it, it might not even be the best show to come out of this recent HBO run of success (many girls will argue Sex and the City; I think 6 Feet Under was outstanding, especially the finale).

And that's a serious letdown after some fantastic seasons of work.

That said, I can't imagine being more pumped for a finale than this one.

The second half of the 6th season has been far better than the first, I beleive. Especially the last three episodes, all classics in my mind. I doubt Chase will disappoint with the finale. And even if he does, it'll still be remembered as one of the GOAT's of TV shows and certainly better than Sex and the City and Six Feet Under.

If Paulie was the rat in Tony's crew, I'll be disappointed.

I can't wait for next week.

Surprised no one has the dope on the Gervasis.

Some answers, perhaps, and other good stuff, on this blog:

And if you just want to laugh, check this part of it out (which I am sure has been posted here before, but still ...):

  8. Slate said it was "Running Wild" by Tindersticks. Anybody heard of it before?

  9. Turns out the song has lyrics, lyrics that match the final scene of the episode (where the song appears) rather appropriately:

Running wild through my mind that I can't sleep tonight
Running wild through my mind that I can't sleep tonight

Like a child, like a child I have no place to hide
Running wild, is there no ending for the ...

Running wild through my mind that I can't sleep tonight
And all the while when I can't sleep tonight, I can see you

Running wild through my mind that I can't sleep tonight
And all the while while I can't sleep tonight, I can see you

    Running wild, running wild
    Running wild, running wild

The underside, the underside of my mind
    There's a cry that I can't even reach out
There's a fire, do you feel that too?

Running wild through my mind that I can't sleep tonight
And all the while while I can't sleep tonight, I can see you

    Running wild, running wild
    Running wild, running wild

Really wish that had been a Little Steven-era Springsteen track there.

Jungleland, content-wise, would have been perfect, but it's way too long.
