Because your stock in trade is to post banalities, kind of like Drip. It's tedious, and I say this as someone who acknowledges I have plenty of posting faults.

Analyzing the case for a possible "hate" crime scene.

I apologize in advance, I could be 100% wrong with my opinion.

    A few points.

    1. South Carolina has a large African-American population, many of them working class, possibly the majority of a low income social class.

    2. Whites in SC were land owners for the most part, some of them used to own slaves...

    3. Charleston has an elite community of very wealthy people, the "bad" part of Charleston is mostly populated by African Americans.

    4. South Carolina has one of the biggest military bases in the country, a lot of veterans and current soldiers live here, making it the most "patriotic" state in this country.

    5. Crime rate should be an issue againts African Americans when it comes to statistics.

    6. On my own experience, whites and blacks are still very segregated here, I will like to think it has more to do with economic status more than anything else.

You should appreciate the fact that some of us try to communicate ideas in your own European language, giving you a different point of view..

I could throw some mayan or navajo dialect to show how "closed" minded some of you are but not, this is a European languaje based site so I try to play by the rules...

No, it isn't. There could be video of a police officer grabbing an innocent woman off the sidewalk, raping her and killing her and a significant number of people would just say "oh, that's just an exception to the rule. #notallcops."

I still think there are more good cops than bad and that this incident should cause the "#notallcops" crowd to realize that, hey, sometimes the cop lies and therefore we should be willing to listen to people when they say a cop has done bad. But they won't.

It's not just about police officers but everything. Today's society isn't willing to change its mind regardless of facts. Majority? Maybe, maybe not. But it isn't a small, vocal few.

I can't imagine individuals among a group repeatedly doing bad things and having people defending said group as their first -- and sometimes only -- reaction.

This has to be a phenomenon specific to cops.

I'm not saying there is going to be a tidal shift in which people believe accusers more than police. But people needed to see that this kind of stuff does happen. Cops kill people. Cops frame people. And, sure, #notallcops. But it had gotten ridiculous. Like LTL said on a thread a while back, every cop will admit there are bad cops. But it's tough to find one that will admit that, say, Darren Wilson did something wrong. Or the Tamir Rice cop did something wrong. Or the cop that shot the mentally ill guy to death who was 20 feet away from him and making no threatening movements.

    Military.

Anyone who is perceived to be a good guy fighting bad guys, basically.

(Presumably, though, you are sarcastically referring to liberals who reflexively defend ... ???)

Who is the "group" you refer to?

    Blacks, right?

I mean, let's put the cards on the table.
