South Carolina cop charged with murder in shooting

If he was running towards children there'd be even less reason to shoot at him and put others at risk IMO.

dq, there was nothing in the field, it was wide open and the two of them were the only ones around. The mitigating factor is that the cop tasered him, but why? It isn't a great leap to see a defense attorney crafting a story -- one that can't be challenged by a witness -- of an agitated perp initiating a confrontation.

 

It would have been in the police report, right?

 

Still wondering how the person with the camera got so close without being jumped.
The cops never even checked out the perimeters after the shooting, did they? Weird.

 

I tell you what, if I was video-recording a policeman gun down someone as I understand this one did, I think I'd be mighty careful about disclosing where I was and what I was doing.

Oh BS. The cop was simply fulfilling the narrative.

 

Maybe he can convince the judge by singing some Asia in the courtroom.

 

I guess this is something I haven't considered, but if it were the case I'm sure they'd have whoever he was running at as a corroborating witness.

 

The video isn't bad DQ. Seen far far worse in movies. The Zapruder film is far worse.

The video is from a distance. I don't recall seeing any blood.
