    Someone has been hired, I know that. Not quite sure of the details, a former SE who went to another paper and is now going to the Times?

    OK, it's official: We hired Mike Petre for our other copy editor spot. Mike comes our way after stops at the Va Pilot and the Northern Virginia Daily. And, here's hoping you guys were talking about him when you said we "got a steal."

    Thanks again to everyone who applied, we had a really strong batch of candidates for these most recent openings.

    Mike is good people, and he will do an outstanding job up there. He has great instincts, and he is an outstanding copy editor. The Indian restaurants in the D.C. area will also be happy he is coming their way. :)
