    Not ours. She was promoted from advertising director ... and had to continue being the advertising director. I'd bet she's lucky to pull in $40K even with commissions.

    Now as for the owners of the mothership oh-so-far away? They're bleeding enough small papers dry that, yeah, I'd bet they're getting along pretty well.
