    Now about that prep volleyball team you're screwing over with all that VT coverage no one cares about ... they work just as hard as the Hokies! :D

    Seriously, this is a bad hire. The Times-Dispatch is a quality paper and they should have gone with somebody younger. A stud, if you will. I'm sure Mizzougrad will tell you, there's plenty of people -- especially in Orlando, I'm sure -- who would be much better at this job. This Mike fella, he's a second-rate hack. He's going to be a big disappointment. (This is SportsJournalists.com, there has to be one jerk who criticizes the hire, right? Isn't that a requirement?) Congrats Mike! Now if only we could put you in charge of all of Media General instead. ;D
