I think dan got his blog and twitter feed mixed up ...

 

I have a feeling that this was not of his own accord. Although the blog page is still there, if you go looking toward his blog's home page, you get a file not found page.

 

I am yet to see this posted publicly, but it is my understanding that it was indeed not of his own accord and he was 'terminated' early this week.

 

Good chance someone on here let him know his job was posted and they had it out. Hopefully Dan finds something else. Met him at the state wrestling tourney and he seemed like an OK guy.

 

Yes, it's the Sandusky Register. Hardly a "resort" town, other than Cedar Point is there. This would be a decent job for the right candidate. They let their SE go this past week. It's around 25,000 circulation and I think they have 3 guys in sports, including the SE.

Yeah, they posted this weeks before they let the new SE go, who was on the job five months. Nice huh? They were just fishing before letting him go, it's Dan Gilles so I gues if you know him, you can ask him about the place.

This is a shithole paper, DO NOT apply. I think a staffer is running things right now. Worst management I've ever seen.

Repeat, RUN away from this. No one is that desperate.
