Somers is still around and comes on sproadically as WFAN is usually broadcasting games during his timeslot.

He's usually on after the evening Mets game and he'll be back tomorrow from 6:30-9 before the Mets play Arizona.

When Dave Logan was on with Scott Hastings on KOA in Denver.........very, very good.........Hastings quit KOA, and is now doing Nugs games on Altitude.........also did Broncos broadcasts.

Now, Dave is on with some lady who is just horrific.........

Someone is going to have to explain to me the entertainment value of Mike & Mike.

I listened to these guys for three months a few years back and boring, predictable and annoying are three adjectives that came immediately to mind. Not three adjectives you want attached to a sports-radio show.

They can't talk intelligently about anything but food and football, don't address anything west of the Appalachians and Golic's whining about Notre Dame and losing out on the MNF job to Tony K despite "the fact I played and he didn't" was sophomoric to the nth degree.

And simulcast on ESPN2? Who the !%&*$^$ came up with that idea? Isn't there an Australian Rules Football game or lumberjack competition that can run in that timeslot?

Obviously, they pull some kind of number, but wow... I'm at a loss to fathom how.

Dan Patrick should be simulcast....Mike and Mike should be dismissed.

Mike Golic isn't even the best radio personality in his family. Bob Golic was hilarious when he was on Fox Sports Radio back in 2001 with, I believe, Craig Sheman. His story about going camping with his wife's family was hysterical.

Hey, Bob Golic doesn't have to work. He's got all that "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" money to fall back on.

  8. Steve Somers = worst ever

I don't feel so bad for McCord. He was joined at the hip with Imus all of these years. He's a news guy and a straight man.

Speaking of Craig Shemon (correct spelling), he used to the Saturday night prime time show on FSR. Now he's regulated to doing mornings with hands-down the worst sidekick on this side of the Atlantic Ocean: James "J-Dub" Washington. Horrible, horrible show.

Now that I'm on the early days of FSR, does anyone know where Adam Schein went to? And "The Sarge" as they called him?

Another tidbit with Jason Smith: he was the sidekick to Jim Daniels overnight on FSR. That was when Smith was really funny. ESPN cut his balls off and he is as listenable as watching the street crack under a hot sun.

In general, I agree. But he is GREAT when it comes to ripping the Yankees

It's a valid question and the answer may lie in their ability to get out of bed early in the morning. I can't see any other reason.
