Well, I'll be the lone voice in the wilderness on Mike & Mike, then. I don't find them at all annoying on the occasions I'm up that early.

Of course, they're not keeping me from flipping the XM dial over to Kornheiser at 9 a.m., but I certainly hear worse on a regular basis.

I find nothing bad about them but there is nothing that keeps me there.

Greenberg really annoys the hell out of me. His suck-ups and arrogance can be a bit overwhelming, and I like him, in general. But it becomes grating over time, IMO

Golic I like a lot. He's very good

James Washington hitting on Serena Williams on the radio = the first time I've listened to Mike and Mike in months. Boy, I do not miss Greenberg

Sorry, Boom. Nothing Imus did was "intelligent" radio. The whole bit about Kerry's train not stopping at his ranch and the amount of air time provided to Santorum. It was brutal.

I also think the show relied too much on Rob Bartlett. The guy's routine was the same thing over and over and over again. Utter rubbish.

Yes, he's still on. If you enjoy his show, I will suggest this link: WFAN.com]. They have a "listen live" link and you can pick up Somers' shows off of that stream.

There may be an ideological agreement, but I would like to think that you would agree in her absurdity. She is downright awful.

If the show is going to be her and Boomer that is going to be downright brutal. This morning was so over the top, and ridiculously so, that it didn't last long on my radio.

I think I said that, no?

Well, you didn't call her absurd. You just said that it didn't go well. No biggie. I just think it sucked beyond all suckitude.

Love the First Team with Steve Czaban. Great show. Czabe's got the perfect persona for a sports radio host, he takes himself just seriously enough, but not too much.

The true test for me on Mike and Mike is that I only watch in the morning when they have a guest. The two of them alone make my ears bleed. The whole Greenie's gay and Golic's fat thing ran out of steam on day two.

Patrick's show is fine, except when he's doing those weird monologues at the start of the show. Never good. At least Dibble and Salisbury have been euthanized.

Jason Smith is terrible, so was Erica Sillyass.

I'm a big fan of Charley Steiner's two-hour MLB Home Plate show on XM.

I don't feel bad for Charles McCord - in addition to portraying the bullied, worn-down newsman constantly in fear of displeasing Lord Imus and having to get back on the subway to a life of insignificance - he also wrote a lot of Imus' objectionable material.
That said - CNN had a piece on Imus' contract that acknowledged his show featured personal, political and pointed remarks and stated CBS wanted this. It also apparently had a "and one" clause that said he needed to be warned before being fired. Imus should take this all the way to court and let the world see how many times CBS received complaints and did nothing. It will be a bigger public relations disaster than what got Imus fired. He could end up with more than the $40 million he's owed.

The Imus Broadcasting Network? Scary thought. CSImus, Touched by an Imus, How I met Your Imus, the Imus Whisperer, and of course Without an Imus.
I caught a little of the Cowherd show today - he was getting a tattoo and talking like he was the first person in the world to get one. Anybody know what the tattoo was of? And why is he making his show less about sports and more about weird stunts? Mid-life crisis? Personal issues? The show's just a lot different than it used to be.

  12. I dunno. I used to listen to Cowherd but stopped because it was crap. Sounds like it's still crap.
