So how has your first week on the job been? Have you eaten any peachy Paterno ice cream yet?

 

Haha. I'm not the guy ... never have had the pleasure of going to State College, though I've always wanted to see a Penn State football game. I just know the guy, and he'll do a good job.

 

I never understood all the mystery on stuff like this. If it's a done deal, why not say who it is?

I've never understood this line of thinking. I want somebody covering my team that isn't a fan, that will tell me what is going on in an unbiased way.

Maybe that's just me being a trained journalist.
