Sports writer job in Indiana

Likely Ivory Tower occupant was probably Mark Masse'. The guy hasn't written a story in years -- all freelance BTW -- and claims to be God's gift to the written word. I ripped the journalism department in a survey they sent me a few weeks back.

As for the job, wouldn't surprise me if it was two openings.

Looks like they're bringing in Michael Casagrande next week. Casagrande's the latest effing-stud out of Western Kentucky currently interning in Birmingham after a stint in Lexington, Ky.

I'm not him, I just know he's got a strong work ethic that Muncie should be fortunate to get.

 

We've got like 15 people from Western in our building.

I've yet to meet an effing-stud among them.

 

We've got a kid from Western out here. I wouldn't call her an effing-stud, but she's a darned good copy editor for a kid right out of college.

 

As a side note, isn't Casagrande the spanish term for "Big House."

I don't even know the kid, and I've already got a nickname for him.

Word out of Muncie is that Casagrande officially accepted the No. 2 preps position last night. He starts July 23.
