    Good guy appears to have gotten this job. He's got a great eye for finding great stories and will do well in SoCal.

    I'll echo MU's thoughts. If you want a 50-100 inch feature/profile, you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone south of 30 that could turn in better copy.

    And with this move, those of you looking to cover high schools in the South could have a chance, if a hiring freeze is lifted to fill this departure.
