I never understood why they can't seem content with what works. They have to make a spectacle of everything.

It's probably in part because they're big hockey boosters, but Levy and Buccigross are two I really enjoy.

another wtf: reporter finishes report, and studio anchor thanks them, and then there's always an awkward second or two where we have to wait for the reporter to say thank you, too.

i don't want to hear that reporter's thank you.

when hannah or everett or elliot thanks the reporter, the director should cut the feed from the reporter, and the next segment should begin.

What is it about her you don't like?

I've never heard her on the radio, but Rachel is pretty stiff on the air. I'm the only one among my friends that finds her attractive.

My ESPN advice? Michelle Beadle, 24 hours a day.

She fucked over a buddy of mine when she was working in Houston radio...
But never liked her before I knew that... and the sundresses and short dresses don't work in her 40s. Like an aging prom queen...
only person I've ever known less able to accept not being in their 20s anymore is this guy...

Attaboys: Gruden, Jaws and Tirico. I absolutely love that tandem. It's the first group in a long time I feel like actually brings some real insight to the game. And Gruden is PERFECT for television. His energetic delivery and intelligence really shine.

And, as I've said before, I could watch Jaws break down film all day (I'd really love to see a half-hour show every week of him breaking down schemes from the previous Sunday. It probably wouldn't appeal to the casual fan, but I'm an X's and O's guy. I love that stuff. I could watch a similar show about college hoops - perhaps Bilas?).

WTF? Why is Stuart Scott always catching or throwing a football now? Is that supposed to add anything to the broadcast? Does it make it seem like he actually knows anything? I admit, I really liked Stuart when he first came on the scene ... he brought a little hip-hop edge to SC and kind of helped add a new dynamic to the show. Now he's a fucking clown.

I'll catch SC in the morning before I head off to work. Right before they go to commercial, they'll do a tease and then say, "You're watching SportsCenter....from Los Angeles."

I still haven't figured out why they think we actually give a fuck where they're doing the show from. Bristol, L.A., Chicago, Strasburg....I don't care.

I dig Hannah Storm and Wendi Nix (with or without the glasses).

I like the gameday crew, the PTI crew and that's about it. I haven't watched sportscenter in years.

  12. I caught her on a college Saturday a few weeks ago and thought, who is this and how in the hell have I missed her." Yea, I was diggin' the glasses.
