But no, I was being literal. There's a horse track in the NM mountain town of Ruidoso, about an hour west of Roswell.

 

then it must be across the state line and into west virginia, because it sure sounds like heaven to me.

 

Ruidoso Downs, one of the best quarterhorse tracks in the country.

It's located not very far from the Mescalero Apache-owned Inn of the Mountain Gods resort/casino/golf course, one of my favorite golf courses.

 

so, does that mean you'll meet us in heaven, scribe?
