I like R-rated comedy as much as the next guy ... but Lisa Lampanelli just goes too far for my tastes. She makes me uncomfortable.

    Seen him twice. Absolutely hilarious.

Saw him at the Ontario Improv and he signed CD's after his show to raise money for cancer research. Couldn't plunk down $15 fast enough.

I LOVE Lewis Black; he's No. 1 on my wish-list of comedians to see, and I haven't gotten through all six pages. But if Frank Caliendo isn't mentioned, this list is bogus.

You know, there aren't alot of newer folks that I find funny. Eddie Izzard and Lewis Black are, and I get a kick out of Ron White and Rodney Carrington at times. But the thing that still cracks me up consistently? I've got a Dennis Miller album from the 80's, "The Off White Album," that is as thoroughly clever and funny as anything I've heard since. I pop it in the car's CD player every couple of months and laugh my ass off all over again.
Now, no matter what Dennis has become in this post-9/11, cocaine-fueled Iraqathon world we live in, he was one of the best ever back in the day.

Separately, two of the Blue Collar Guys -- Engvall & Foxworthy -- are hilarious!! I don't have much use for the other two -- Cable Guy and "Chain Smoker" (I don't know his name).

The first two always make me laugh. The last two always make change the channel.

Haven't read the entire thread, but ... Buddy of mine went to see Joe Rogan in Atlanta last weekend, said he was a fuckin' riot.

I expect it from newbies, zeke. Not from you.

    I'm hurt.
