Maguire reminds me of Japanese anime. He moves and jerks around so much ... I swear I'm going to have a seizure.

Oh, probably below a transgendered beach volleyball tournament in Croatia.

    Who cares? Their loss.

He's the hockey version of K-Tel.

    He's shilling constantly.

Every so often on TSN I think Bob McKenzie is going to turn around and slap his bald head

Michael Farber's story in SI this past week said one game was a 1.7. It was the lowest ever for a prime time show.

Pierre Maguire has been responsible for two of the worst postgame questions ever this past week.

    1. Question posed to Pisani after game 3 - "You grew up right here in Edmonton. The Oilers originally drafted you because they wanted to sell season tickets for their farm team. How are you feeling now?"

    2. Question posed to Pisani after game 6 - "The guys upstairs were saying you spent four years at Providence College. How did that experience prepare you for this?"

The first question is flat out stupid. Pisani was drafted in 1996, at a time when the Oilers farm team was located in Hamilton. There's no connection between Pisani growing up in Edmonton and helping sell tickets in Hamilton. Maguire must have thought Edmonton's farm team was playing in Edmonton the entire time, but even if that were true it's still a stupid thing to say the playoff's leading goal scorer after a victory.

The second question is just dumb. Thanks Pierre, the Oilers have just forced a game 7 after a huge win on home ice in the Stanley Cup Final. I don't want to know anything about the game that was just played, I really just want to know how Pisani's four years at Providence helped him make it here. That guy is a first-rate douchebag.

JJ, if you've ever watched any Attack/Rangers games on Rogers, Kelly Wamsley was Kitchener's "Fan In The Stands" girl in 04-05, I think. I think she's dating Andre Benoit. I shouldn't know this, but I do.

Rogers should do a "Fan in the Stands" girl calendar.

You're right. In our case in the Sound, they're better seen instead of heard, but I don't know if that's the case province-wide.

And thanks for the info, Sea Bass. I don't get to see very many games on Rogers because I live in the sticks where there is no cable service, only antennae and satellite dishes.

Don't forget the non-question which he wouldn't pose to Pisani about his injury.

The knock on Pierre has always been that he knows his stuff but won't STFU. Now I'm not so sure anymore that he knows his stuff. How do morons like him and Pierre LeBrun have jobs in hockey broadcasting?

LeBrun got picked up (I assume) because a.) he busted his ass and broke a few stories during the lockout and b.) they needed a body to replace Strachan.

I had a phone conversation once with LeBrun that convinced me he was as clueless as....well, I'd better not say it at the risk of cross-threadinating.
