I'm not sure (at least there's no precedent) if two players can split the Trophy.

Or, we could extend this thread with the ever popular "Where did this guy play his junior/college hockey" trivia game.

    I'll start. Justin Williams.

    And no Googling.

It's never happened before but it could. I was thinking of Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson splitting the World Series MVP award a few years ago and figured this would be the perfect solution, because for the life of me I can't decide who's been more important in Edmonton's Cup run.

Justin Williams played for the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL. Before that he played for Colborne of the Empire Junior C Hockey League!

Here's an even better question. Edmonton teammates Chris Pronger and Rem Murray took separate routes to the NHL (major junior vs NCAA) but they did play Junior B together for one season in the early 1990s. Name the team they played for.

Pisani scores the series-clinching goal with 5:52 remaining in the third.

    Conn Smythe winner:

    Oilers: Pisani

    Hurricanes: Cam Ward

Pisani scores the game winner at 17:36 of the second - Edmonton goes on to win 4-1 (EN goal)

    Conn Smythe
Pronger – as many big goals Pisani has scored, Pronger has been their catalyst, everything runs through him. He has been productive offensively, a rock defensively, a minutes eater, and a leader in every aspect of the game. Then again it's just as easy to make the case for Fernando.

    --------
If Carolina wins, however, the Conn Smythe will go to Rod Brind'Amour for many of the same reasons it would go to Pronger. Brind'Amour has been amazing for the 'Canes all season and has kept up his play through the playoffs, although he did have an off-game on Saturday. Still he edges out Cam Ward and Stillman for the honour. Staal's not in the picture any more after being invisible for much of the finals.

Ontario junior B. You have got to be kidding. But since Rem Murray is from Stratford, I'll say the, uh Stratford Streak?
