And they could have two wards in the Psycho Ward, Aaron and Cam.

Psycho for Aaron, who has taken some enforcer duties with Jesse Boulerice now in St. Louis.

Cam? Has to be the Ca(l)m Ward. No way that kid's a rookie. No freaking way. :)

Was thinking along the lines of the crazy saves he makes. 'Cause, fuck, some of them were just inhuman.

No joke. A friend and I saw that in the home opener against Pittsburgh - in person. We could see that then, and my friend is a Penguins fan. Even he was impressed.

Now everyone knows. Crap ... secret's out. ;D

Oh well. At least we can say he was a major reason why the Canes won the Cup. ;D

Absolutely. Nothing at all against Martin Gerber. He was very solid through much of the season. But I felt like there was something special about Cam Ward. For once, I may have been on to something.

Loved the end of the HNIC broadcast, where they showed footage of each Cane introducing themselves and saying who their favourite player had been while they were growing up.

"Hi, I'm Aaron Ward and my favourite player was Bob McGill."

I don't even know if Bob McGill's kids would say he was their favourite player. But he was a tough customer, and obviously Ward saw something in him that he liked. Points to Ward for giving him some love.

... and Ziggy Palffy and some kid named Crosby. Stopped all three and barely looked like he was breaking a sweat.

Reminds me of the Grammy Awards where Little Richard tried to present the Best New Artist trophy to himself, then went on a tirade, claiming that he had invented rock and roll "and y'all never gave me NOTHIN'!"
