Phantom Menace was pretty bad but the pod race was cool. the only thing missing was the Sandpeople having a barbecue.

    Clones was OK.

Sith was awesome. After Episode 4 and 5, Sith is my favorite. Just watched it the other day. Great stuff if you ask me.

    Sith was good.

First two prequels, not so much.

If you skip all the love scenes in Clones, it's decent, but in general, yea.

    Sith rawked though.

  7. A few weeks back I tried to get my five year old nephew to watch it. He showed ZERO interest (left the room after about fifteen minutes to go play with toy cars). When I arrived to watch him yesterday he pointed out that he was wearing SW underpants so maybe he liked it more than he let on.

My soon-to-be four-year-old daughter has seen the original trilogy on DVD. She loves the music, the droids, the princess and Chewbacca ("I want to see the big doggie!"). Pretty much gets bored and starts playing with her toys when the shooting starts.

I won't let her watch Revenge of the Sith, though. To many people getting hacked to pieces.

Besides, all three prequels have Jar-Jar and I would never expose my child to that.

Loved Sith. Holds up very well with the first trilogy.

Even though Phantom menace mostly was average, well, it stunk. But even so, when it started and Obi Wan and Qui Gon appeared and started kicking ass, I got goosebumps.

The Histroy Channel stuff was really good, but why in the hell was Newt Gingrich and Diana Pelosi on there???? And she was there for about 5 seconds. She's probably never seen Star Wars.

And actually Paul is my fave Beatle.

I loved Sith, too, very much in fact. Just think it could have been way tighter.

The opening 10 minutes of TPM are as good as any opening in the franchise. And then the movie freefalls into Full House comedy and utter tedium straight out of any random viewing of C-SPAN. It would have been nice if Darth Maul stuck around a while longer in the prequels, he was the only compelling character in the whole damned first act.

My childhood officially flatlined when Jar-Jar stepped in the pile of Bantha shit and complained about it.

  12. HBO is running Star Wars 1 through 6 right now. The first one, Phantom Menace has about 30 minutes left.
