Cinnamon Toast Crunch fucking sucks. It's like pouring milk over actual cinnamon toast. Nasty-ass gritty cinnamon floating in my milk. No way.

We've come to the final. These four teams have gutted it out, and taken a few of our own guts with them, in the many years since the Kellogg's rooster first crowed. They're versatile players in the cereal world, tasting great with whole milk, 2%, chocolate or, when you're too hungover to grocery shop or even care, with orange juice.

Apple Jacks got here on a little luck and a little high fructose corn syrup ... given a No. 7 seed by the selection committee, AJ benefitted from a last-minute bracket switch. Raisin Hell was the only raisin' of the roof this cereal would do.

Toucan Sam has pecked his way onto breakfast tables, encouraging youngsters to follow their noses but eat with their eyes. His multicolored life preservers floating on a white sea captivated fans in the Grandma's House Sectional, and riding a wave of momentum into the Final Four, Fruit Loops made a comeback victory over Apple Jacks, 13-11.

The Sugar Fix Sectional was deemed the group of death for sugary cereals, a place where colors not found in nature would butt heads to make it out of Peterborough alive. Lucky Charms had the magically deliciousness to emerge from the bracket of powdered powerhouses. But while there are blue moons and purple horseshoes, there are no golden trophies.

Frosted Flakes. The strongest No. 1 seed had a fantastic tournament, outscoring opponents 79-19 and blanked Waffle Crisp, 30-0, the only shutout posted. Tony the Tiger then took down Fruity Pebbles and Golden Grahams in an impressive manhandling (or would that be tigerhandling?) of two professed board favorites. FF had the largest margin of victory in the Final Four, defeating Lucky Charms 14-10.

No. 1 Frosted Flakes vs. No. 7 Fruit Loops. You've got just over 24 hours to pick an SportsJournalists.com champion. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. EST Thursday.

With my favorite, Golden Grahams, not in contention, I hope it's not too late for me to weigh in on the cereal matter.

Had both finalists for breakfast (or part of it) in Vegas recently. Frosted Flakes, while great, tended to stick to my teeth, especially the molars. Fruit Loops, while good, battled with the roof of my mouth in roughness.

In a close call, I have to go with Tony and the Flakes.
