I'd get my picture taken with one of my future husbands, just to figure out our coloring for the ceremony. :D

I don't want to flame you BB, but this is example no. 9,322 of posters on a sports journalism board taking their readers for granted. Sports journalists meet famous athletes all the time, and usually are pretty smitten by them, in my experience (after all, there are dozens of threads on this very board that address personal stories of so-and-so superstar). When a Super Bowl winning QB shows up unexpectedly in rural America, it's only natural to think every single living soul in that little town wants to rub elbows (or in the case of the victim, rub even more) with the star.

Bradshaw actually claims he has ADD or ADHD (I forget which), but when it comes to functioning in the world, he does seem a heck of a lot more savvy than Roethlisberger.

At this age, I think Terry was trying to sing and chase figure skaters.

From the stuff I've read on ADD (which I'm convinced I have) the issue isnt intelligence, the issue is being able to focus. People with ADD can usually do very well when placed in a situation where they have to hyper-focus. Its when they have no need to focus and no structure that their lives outr a total wreck.

At this age, he hadn't been accused of sexual assault twice (though I still think the first accusation is a load of crap).

I'd love to cross examine those cops in the civil trial.

Yeah, but those fans who cheered when he got hurt got to see the Browns get outscored 119-12 the next four games with Ken Dorsey and Bruce Gradkowski at quarterback.

I'm assuming that was an attempt at comedy on her part. That, or she doesn't see the irony in posting that on the same thread where she is picking on 93Devil for making lousy connections.

Ben Roethlisberger's off-field stupidity has nothing to do with Derek Anderson's on-field suckitude or the classless way Browns fans responded to his injury. Now if she wanted to bring up Steelers fans cheering a Bradshaw injury in the early '80s, that would have been somewhat relevant, though going back that far might be a bit of a reach.

The cops got their photos taken with Roethlisberger before they learned of the allegations, right? If so, they should have recused themselves.

If it was a "Hey, as now that we're done getting your statement, how about a photo?" situation, they should be fired.

I found this to be very interesting and there is some truth to what is being said. I'd like to know what some members of the board think.

Exhibit C: The idiot mayor of Pittsburgh swiping an American Express T and sneaking onto the course at Oakmont in order to get a picture with Tiger....
