That "whoosh" you heard was the collective sigh of relief from the Steeler nation.*

*Pending the commissioner's decision to suspend Big Ben for being a drunk dumbass.

And rightfully so. What do you think, three games?

Two accusations. One incredibly weak. If there are no charges filed in either case? I'm guessing he gets a serious ass chewing and, at most, a game.

I'll bet an Omaha steak delivered to your doorstep that he doesn't miss any time.

The organization should be thinking about asking him to go on the wagon a while, of course handled internally. He either can't manage his alcohol or women, maybe both.

No bet there. I really don't know if they even have grounds to suspend him if no charges are filed in the Georgia case.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled jerking off on Roethlisberger's bloated face, fanbois.

Not so fast my friend.. ESPN may have jumped the gun (gasp!!!).
Apparently they cited one source - rather than many sources as initailly reported..They also used the legal opinions oif E. Roger Coswell, sorry Roger Cossack as a source ...
Cossack only claimed in his opinion, Roethlisberger would not be charged.

That's why I wrote it as according to ESPN and "if" he is not charged.

I said two earlier (if no charges are filed) but I wouldn't lose any sleep over three.

Typically, DAs don't tip off a person that he might be charged with a crime by announcing a press conference days before it happens. They make an arrest then hold the press conference.
    He won't be charged.

Unless an agreement has been made between the attys for the accused and the D.A. to have their client turn himself in at a certain time... which does happen... but it doesn't seem like the case here.
