Roethlisberger spoke to the cops the night of the incident. So he has said something pertaining to the case.

 

Any serious doubts there will be a third time? Tebow on a crutch, if you're lucky enough to skate on a possible rape charge once in your life (guilty or innocent is not relevant to my point here), you've got to either be crazy or several degrees dumber than lichen to get in the same jam a second time.
Unless, of course, assaulting women is part of who you are.

First of all, the accusation was sexual assault, not rape. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of your bullshit. There is a reason such distinctions are made, but apparently that is beyond you.

Also, Lewis actually faced charges and plea-bargained his way out of trouble. Roethlisberger was not charged.

This thing has legs for two reasons. One, he faced a previous accusation which looks extremely shaky based on information that has come to light. And two, he is high-profile enough and enough of a jackass that people will assume guilt even though there is not even enough evidence to file charges.

Accuse me of bias all you like, but it is your bias that is shining through in your posts. And unlike you, I won't run away from what I wrote in a few weeks by deleting it all.

 

I don't know... The first accusation failed the sniff test from the get go... It was and is flat-out bullshit false.
This one, I think he some - SOME - credibility.

I don't look at him as a "would-be rapist." I look at him as a monumental dickhead with a possible alcohol problem. I'm guessing he might not find himself accused of shit if he decided to curtail his drinking.
