Trey, when you look at laws and rules and policies, you cannot look at one example and work the policy around that.

At least that is the way I see it.

I have a problem with anyone being "punished" for a moral indiscretion, especially when there is no precedent for such punishments of non-criminal behavior and especially when he has no ability to defend himself and no way to appeal it or file a grievance.

They may think it is OK in some Banana Republic where the dictator walks around with a funny little hat on - but here in America, we subscribe to the idea of due process even in private corporations.

Actually there were no witnesses in that bathroom, which is why there is no case.

He has his dick out in public, jackass. And plenty of witnesses in the hours leading up to the bathroom.

We aren't talking about America. We're talking about the NFL.

YGBFKM, this is not a poke or a jab, do you think the Georgia DA should have charged and arrested him?

I honestly think he should have.

Would that statement fly with you with any of those other words in it? I didn't think so.

And tarnish the league image by being a predator toward women, making negative headlines nationwide for months. Those aren't stories that the NFL wants to see when trying to attract new fans -- in particular, women.

And there were plenty of people who witnessed Slick Willy's behaviour around women leading up to alleged assaults as well....

But, jackass, nobody witnessed what happened in the room, jackass, which is why, jackass, there are no charges, jackass, understand the difference, jackass?

Ben isn't in trouble for anything that happened, jackass, until whatever happened in that bathroom, jackass, and nobody else saw it, jackass.

No witnesses in hotel room either. In both cases though you have a police officer escorting the victim to the accused.

Wonder if Ben has any "distinguishing marks."

    He's a predator of women?

Really, how many times has he been convicted of or even charged with predatory behavior?

    Oh that's right, never.

And again -- are we going to start suspending guys who cheat on their wives and get caught? How about guys who have threesomes and has one of the two ladies kiss and tell?

Where does the line get drawn?
