What did folks think of the Patriots' hurry up ineligible receiver formations?

I found it intriguing, but not a fan of it. Hell of a time to spring it. Regardless, better team won.

Now if we could just get a team to never punt.

Deception within the rules is legitimate, indeed, praiseworthy. Since it's the sort of trick likely to work only once, I don't think it's a big deal. The Ravens secondary was supposed to be their weakness coming into the game and so it was.

Yesterday put 20 on Pats (-7) and over (48) and Seahawks (-12) and over (40). Would've paid $235.

    Fucking Pats.

Didn't see it live......from reading the comments I thought the reporting of an ineligible jersey should have the same timing as when a lineman reports as eligible. From what Harbaugh was saying it seemed like that wasn't the case....but now King is saying there were seven seconds between the stadium announcement and the snap on each of the plays, which does seem like enough time.

They have the jersey number rule so the defense can ID who's eligible and who's not, I think that's being missed in a lot of the discussion I've seen about this.

Yup. It's the NFL not youth football. You would think that defenses should be able to better adjust to offenses
formations but a lot of NFL defenders are so programed they can't adjust.

    OK, back to the NFL.

I'll probably be wrong about this, but I'm thinking Dallas wins today.

Looks like DAL will need to bring S help if they want to stop the run.
