It's okay. There is really nothing more to say on the subject. The rule was changed in 2006 after the hit on Palmer, then clarified after the hit on Brady in 2008, as demonstrated in the links I provided.

    Manning' arm looks very weak.

    This isn't a knock on Judy ...

Nothing we've seen so far in this game has given me reason to believe anything but that the Patriots will roll with ease next week.

... but I see these kinds of tweets over and over by multiple folks from the national sporting press. I don't get it. What, because teams are slugging it out in this game, and perhaps looking ugly doing it, they have zero chance in New England next week?

That's just one example. I saw the same kind of tweets last week after Dallas hung on to beat Detroit, how there's no way they'll be in the same park as Green Bay and yadda yadda.

Baltimore was not really supposed to be within a few touchdowns against a rested Patriots team, and it took a batted-down Hail Mary to secure it.

    Blah. Whatever.

Battista is not a Patriots fan, but she is a fervent believer in the Patriot dynasty as a thing. Cover the Jets, you'll get that way.

Luck would have run for about 20 on that play.

It looks like Chris Christie's stomach band broke on replay announcment

This is not a complete beating, but the Colts have certainly been the dominant team and there's little evidence that won't continue.

Vinatieri's extra point kicks are so low it looks like he's trying a 50-yarder.

All second banana feature writers at the Globe and Herald are seizing on Vinatieri as their only hope for pregame hype.

Don't you have to give the guy a chance to make the catch?
