    Phil Rizzuto’s Money Store commercials were a staple in New York in the 80s. As a young kid, I didn’t understand why there was a store that sold money.

    Saw it repeatedly before I realized this: the guy whose wife is throwing herself on Frank Thomas is Kevin Ray, play by play guy for the Phoenix Suns.

    not sure how much it cost to book major athletes in the mid-1960s, but in hindsight that must have cost a small fortune. Five Hall of Famers and an extremely popular QB in Meredith.
