When I was in high school there was a wrestler on a team in our conference named Thunder Grimes.

I always thought that was about a perfect name for a wrestler.

My personal favorite: South Carolina walk-on Foxy Foxworth.

Could this possibly be her name? maybe she just didn't have ID on her, and gave the police three random words as her name:

Had a tennis player listed on the score sheet as Tiffany Tennis. Had to double-check their roster page to confirm that was actually her last name. It is.

It always makes writing interesting when a player has a last name identical to the name of the team he/she plays on.

Mentioned this on the college football thread, but South Carolina has two defensive linemen named Gerald Dixon. They are half-brothers born five months apart in the same town (Rock Hill, S.C.), but attended different high schools.

Their father (also named Gerald) played for the Gamecocks in the early 90s, then spent several years in the NFL. Somewhere along the line, he knocked up two women and convinced both of them to name their sons after him.

Foreman's kids were all from the same mother and spread apart at least 9 months in age.
