Absolutely. But I don't want to move very far away, so I suppose I choose to be stuck here. :-\

Also, I'm not living in fear of layoffs like some of my colleagues at much larger, nearby papers are. I suppose that's worth something.

 

I feel stuck. Mostly good people here, but I miss being at a daily. I guess if I had to play out my career here it'd be okay, just really unfufilling.

 

No. Not so much because I can move up easily here, but because this is a great paper and it's helping me improve my skills to the point that if I want to move up to a really big paper in a couple years, I'll be able to. Course I love my boss and this city to the point that I doubt I'll leave.

 

Stick with it Bud! Hang it there. They'll be laying you off or offering you a buy out soon enough.
