Rotten Tomatoes has Star Trek receiving 58 positive reviews and 2 negative reviews thus far. Remarkable.

One of the two negative ones is from the visionary mind of Armond White, who trashed The Wrester, Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, and The Dark Knight. The other is from a guy who gave it a 2.5/4, which should make it fresh.

Armond White reads like a dude who deliberately goes against the grain in a transparent effort to gain publicity and a better position for himself.

Saw Wolverine last night . . . nothing too bad, nothing too exceptionally special. A nice, entertaining popcorn flick. Not exactly the Wolverine origin story I preferred, but really, they did a good job making a crowd-pleasing movie.

We got the Deadpool ending. I wanted the other one.

    Do you know his story?

Mom walked away from him, his dad and his siblings when he was nine. And not just around the corner, New Zealand to England. I think she started another family in England as well. It's pretty crazy shit.

He told Stern the first thing his dad said to him after meeting his current wife was basically "are you trying to marry your mother?"

Jackman also said he never has had formal counseling about what happened in his youth.

Hey, I think the guy is fantastic, and God bless him if he is faithful and everything is fine, but some red flags shoot up in my mind.

Ebert gave it a bad review.

Wish I could trade. The other one was pretty useless.

Great. Now if they can fix him so he is closer to the character in the comics, particularly with his powers.

The Deadpool ending wasn't worth sitting through 3 minutes of credits either.

Yeah he did, but it's still currently at 94% which is amazing for a summer action flick. The pre-release buzz will make it many millions more in the box office this weekend.

Anyone see T4 yet? Was thinking of going tonight with the guys for a good ole fashioned popcorn movie night.

edit: I'm not expecting much, it's at 33% on RT, but a kinda fun machines destroying buildings, people and yeah.

A friend of mine saw the midnight showing last night and said it sucked. Personally, I don't put much stock in his opinion tho. I'll be going tomorrow or Saturday.
