I probably shouldn't comment as I dropped out a few weeks ago, but a little surprised that George Michael hasn't gotten any public votes. Or did his solo career completely overshadow Wham! to the point where people barely remember they weren't songs from his early solo days?

The Sports Machine was so 1980s and 90s. Miss that guy and his team at WRC.

 

Part of one of the most prolific pop duos in the early-mid 80s and one of the most prolific individual pop acts in the late 80s and early 90s? I mean, I don't expect him to win, but it's not like he's Jordan Knight.

George Michael is a terrible answer in every sense. For one, Wham! could be considered a boy band.

Lou Reed might have been my answer if I weren't gunning for the Sheep mentality.

 

Wham! -- which sold 25 million records -- doesn't care what label you put upon it.

And poor George couldn't quite get up to 52 weeks there. Poor kid.
