    Super Man

A friend of mine at the Union Tribune in San Diego told me they had the following:

Singin' Indy reign on their sports cover

Soaking it all in on the A1 cover with Dungy on the front celebrating on the shoulders of coaches.

The Edmonton Sun: Superb! – Mannign finally gets his ring
The Edmonton Journal: Colts Ride Herd – Bears leave barn door open and Dungy & Co. storm off with Super Bowl victory

I didn't use it, but hell, there's nothing wrong with that as a head. We overthink this sometimes in our quest to be "original." If somebody looks at the head, sees "Peyton Place," they probably think, "Ha, I remember Peyton Place. Cute."

    Nothing wrong with it.

    Gotta respectfully disagree, shotty.

A bad pun is the worst form of headline.

Better to go with "Colts win Super Bowl" and be done with it.

A good, original sports headline is written about once every two years.

Maybe I'm a wuss, but I think that if you have to stretch to find the clever hed, or if it's so obvious it will be everywhere tomorrow, playing it straight is the best option.

    What about
"Colts Reign o'er Bears"? Too obscure of a reference? Anyone still listen to the Who?
