As lively a first quarter as I have seen in the Super Bowl in a long time.

I thought that sounded like a long shot. I couldn't remember a raining Super Bowl, but I wasn't around for IX.

I can see the suits in Goodell's suite and nearby.

    "Damn that rain."

"We can't play the Super Bowl in the rain, what is this shit?"

"We had a deal with the big guy in the sky. It never rains on Super Bowl Sunday, goddammit. Whaddup with dat?"

Hey the Superdome ain't what it used to be, but your cameras aren't gonna be fogged by rain, you schmucks. Quit bein' such elitists and help some brothas out.

    TV Question...
Is CBS HDTV broadcast volume off?
Am watching it with my HDTV and surround system... Volume is far quieter than other HD stations and a whisper compared to the regular CBS broadcast at the same volume levels...
Anyone else noticing it isnt as loud?

Jim Turner scored for the Jets against the Colts in III and for the Broncos against the Cowboys in XII, but those were kicks, not touchdowns.

Ricky Proehl has scored touchdowns with St. Louis and Carolina

And of course, Jerry Rice with SF and Oakland

If somebody would have told me the Bears would be on pace for 56 points after the first quarter, I would have laughed.
