"Whining" is justified when the officiating of a contest is totally unacceptable.

Some of you guys need to pick up a rulebook. And read it. You can buy a pocket version for idle time in the bathroom. Or you can actually watch more football and spend less time here doing play-by-play and bullshitting about it.

You simply can't view it objectively. Forfeited long ago.

You are every bit as biased in your view of that one as I am, but as long as you're calling it incompetence rather than a fix, I'm happy to dismiss it as agreeing to disagree. (Mostly, because I still get to enjoy the result).

I'm not going to call it an all-out fix, but I'll say it was a combination of a toxic incompetence and blatant favoritism. Look, people on these threads are right -- the Steelers are getting all the calls, every week, when they need a push. The most controversial call of the season involved a bogus go-ahead Pittsburgh touchdown.

The last time I got fired up about this, it led to a three-day break (which gave me a wonderful opportunity to do some planting outside). So I'll let it go.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass here -- but what calls do you really think were that egregious that you are still pissed this many years later?

I thought the offensive pass interference in the first quarter was a little ridiculous.

More controversial than Hochuli's mistake? Really?

Let him go. He's on a roll. Not quite in touch with reality, but so be it.
