There was not a player on either side that was playing like an idiot on special teams. Sure, Wilson took out the holder, but he was physically just out of control, not mentally.

Sometimes you can spot the chippy plays as the game progresses, but like I typed, I could not see it.

Wasn't questioning you, just ribbing some of the guys here who despise Harrison. Just seems to me like he's doing everything he can to keep the guy out of the play. And acting a bit like the overagressive jerk that he apparently is.

Is that incident why Francisco was so beatable on the last drive?

"OK, James . . .let me up. I swear I won't cover anyone with the game on the line."

    "OK, just so we're clear."

Is Tomlin the first bearded SB-winning coach? I can't think of any others.

Yeah. So Oscar De La Hoya is a thug because he beats people up for a living?
    Grow up, TP.

Yep. Ditka and Cowher were the only mustachioed SB-winning coaches, as far as I know.

Well, Michael, you got me thinking about ranking all the Super Bowl teams, so I did. Points were earned through a combination of winning percentage, point differential in the regular season (heaviest weight), point differential in playoffs and point differential in the SB (least weight). Based on my formula, I came up with this... and you were almost right about the Cardinals. Obviously, I (and my formula) reserve the right to be wrong.

My only quibble with the Steelers on your list, Simon, is that this Steelers team was better than the 2005 version. They might not have had the same running game or offensive line, but Roethlisberger and the defense were far better than in 2005, and that's not to mention replacing Antwaan Randel El with Santonio Holmes and Nate Washington. I would flip those two teams.
