The common draft (which was the whole point of the merger, to end the rookie bidding war, the Super Bowl was just something that had to happen for logic's sake) began in 1967, so in effect the Chiefs and Jets were the only AFL teams to win a Bowl, since they were mostly constructed during the AFL-NFL war. The Steelers and Dolphins were built in the common draft era.

Check James Harrison's rap sheet sometime. Or maybe he's just been "misunderstood."

By the time the Steelers won in 1975, they were all AFC

I'll give you the Colts in V. Point is the same, though: the AFL/AFC dominated the SB until the 49ers made their debut in the game in 1982.

I don't think anyone dominated Dallas in the 1970s. Steelers were able to beat them twice, but if they played 20 times, I'm guessing it would be 10-10 for each side.

2-0 does not project to 10-10, even if they were close games.

You're the one digging your own hole here.

    Talk about a break-up !
Whew, after such a successful season it'd been nice to see Cards stay together and try for repeat.

When I say Bouldin and the OC jawing in the NFC title game, I figured there was some inner turmoil there.
    Bouldin's a seeming dickhead

It's Boldin. And he's just jealous of Fitzgerald. Not sure he's a dickhead (maybe), but he wants to be the man, and it ain't happening there.
