I'm shocked nobody has linked this solely to rip it to shreds ...

We're less than a week away from kickoff ... time to get this thread back on the front page. Though I'm sure once Media Day comes on Tuesday, there will be no shortage of hype.

Well that explains Seattle's win in the divisional round that year.

I've decided that anything less than a 5 INT day by Big Bitch is unacceptable. Let's go Cardinals!

    On this site?

I'd say Red Sox fans are the most obnoxious. Then SEC football fans. Then Steelers fans. Then ACC basketball fans. Then Yankees fans.

Most people on this site hate the Yankees.

Oh, and nothing would be sweeter than those cocksuckers from Pittsburgh losing a Super Bowl to the fucking Arizona Cardinals.

    Of course, it won't happen.

I'm sure it's already been ordered from above.

Move Yankees fans to the front of the line and then you've got it, 'Gola. :)

In all seriousness, I think the obnoxious fan debate is kind of useless. Every fan base has bad apples, and every winning franchise is going to have fans that stand out. Always has been that way, always will.

It is interesting to me that some NFL teams have more and more active posters on this board than others, and it isn't necessarily related to market size. Very few Giants fans considering the size of NYC, Jets fans are just the usual bitter New Yorkers who rip the Mets and Yanks, too.
There are, in my rough estimate, Steeler fans than any others, followed by the Pats, Bears, and Cowboys in no particular order. Relatively few Eagle and Redskin fans (I know you're there, remember the adverb relatively in that phrase).
Any Jaguars fans? At all? Bueller?

    You forgot Cleveland.

Success has a lot to do with it, but a lot of it is generational.

    Excuse me?

What did the ACC fans do to you? I like Wazzu, and I have ample reason to watch the Pac-10 like a hawk because of a couple of moves the last 3-4 years.

Yes, I am a Patriots and Jags fan, mostly because I attend school nearby Jacksonville and haved worked with the team and stadium. Free games have made me a fan the past few seasons and I'm a big Garrard fan. One of the nicest and most down-to-earth guys I've ever chatted with and I love what he does for Crohn's Disease, which I also have.

Back on topic. The fan obnoxious debate is ridiculous. Steelers get deducted points because they have a large and passionate 'base? Who the fuck cares about fanbases anyway? I still want the Cardinals to win because Kurt Warner was one of the guys that got me heavy into the NFL 10 years ago and Fitzgerald is an unreal WR who seems like a humble, deserving player.

Speaking of Warner, I just rewatched Super Bowl 34 on the NFL Network. What a freaking game. Wow.

It's been nine years and I still can't believe Dyson didn't get in. What a tackle by Jones.
