Beautiful job coming off Wycheck and applying a textbook form tackle.

I used to think that McNair should have tucked it down and bolted for the end zone but I don't know if he would have gotten in.

Either way, you've got to throw it into the end zone. No ifs ands or buts about it.

If you look at Dyson on that final play, he rounds his route. If he runs a sharp route, it might have held London Fletcher for a split-second longer, allowing Dyson to score. Good call, can't blame the Titans there. I've always wonder whether Dyson's cut would have made the difference.

What do you think would have happened in OT? The Titans clearly had all the momentum and were it not for Warner's bomb, they would have won the game easily.

Still, you give STL the ball and i don't know if Tennessee could have stopped them.

    I guess we'll never know.

No clue what would have happened in overtime, but the first Super Bowl overtime would have been fun.

Well, it's bound to happen eventually right? I mean, how many games went to OT this season in the NFL?

I would reckon it's better than 1/43 anyway.

For my money, the greatest play (at least not involving a touchdown or a turnover) in SB history is McNair's pass that got the ball to the 10 (I rank it just ahead of Mark Ingram's 14-yard catch and run on third-and-13 in XXV).

He had Kevin Carter AND Jay Williams with fistfuls of his jersey and he tossed them off his back and fired a 25-yard strike on the full run to Dyson with 6 seconds left.

Eli last year and Swann in X, Simon.

The play that McNair made was better, though the catch wasn't as spectacular as Tyree's. But that is what makes McNair's play more impressive to me. Not only did he make a tougher escape, he didn't just throw up a prayer that was answered. He made a good, strong throw.

    McNair

    Eli + Tyree

    Swann

I have to give the nod to the combination of Eli and Tyree.
