Eli and Tyree is up there, more for Tyree's catch... I pin Eli's escape more on ineptitude on the Patriots' part.

But, yeah, that's in the trinity for me, too.

Simon, I rewatched the McNair play about five times and I have no idea what 6-7 of the Ram defenders were doing on that play.

One DE stopped chasing him!!! It was like they were afraid he was going to run 30 yards instead of throwing a pass.

Their failure easily matches what the Pats did.

You aren't watching the same play. Zgonina gut cut block just as McNair started sprinting right. The other two rushing linemen had their mitts on McNair.

McNair is bent downward, his Achilles' about to burst and throws those guys off him. A physical monster play.

Again, Eli threw a Hail Mary, nothing more or less.

And Tyree made the greatest catch in the game's history.

It seems like yesterday to me, when I was going to Tampa Stadium, watching my guys Doug Williams, Ricky Bell, Jimmie Giles, The Selmon boys and Richard Batman Wood, and would see the plastic tarp hanging over the entryway where the Bucs came from (Southeast corner of the stadium). It read Welcome to Tampa Stadium home of the 1984 Super Bowl.

A quarter-century later and this once-sleepy town that no one thought could support an NFL team is about to host its fourth Super Bowl.

Just wow to this sentimental observer.

    #93 for the Rams

What is he doing for the first half of that play?

How many guys did Tennessee have in the corner of the end zone? I saw two Ram defenders jump into the screen from there once the ball was caught.

Have you ever played football? I mean... Jesus Christ.

He had his pass rush, kept contain when McNair pulled the ball down, then pursued. Carter played it as well as he could.

Golden Corral is a sponsor on the NFL Network.

The place has been around for as long as I can remember... a poor-man's Sizzler.... and I have never seen and ad for them.

But, perhaps with the economy as such, $10 for a skirt steak piece, Texas toast and a drink is worth advertising.

    Yes, Simon, I have.

With 22 seconds on the clock and one timeout left (I'm guessing that is what Tennessee had left) you don't sit back and watch McNair buy time to throw down the field.

If they force him past the line of scrimmage, the game is basically over. If he runs for a 15-20 yard gain, the clock pretty much expires.

And Carter screwed up contain on that as well.

Yes. You play 8 defensive backs and keep the play in front of you.

    EVERY time in that circumstance.

Meanwhile, these three egomaniacs Michael Silver, Adam Shefter and Jay Glazer are polluting the NFL Network.

If those three guys were stood on top of each other, would they break being 16 feet tall?
