    Agreed. Ugly, ugly game.

Almost every person these guys have had on today has pimped whatever cheesy business they're fronting, not surprisingly. Strahan even doled out complimentary candy.

Thirded. The Steelers were bad. The Seahawks were worse. The officiating stunk. (Yes, I said it. I still don't think it determined the outcome, but the officials did not do their jobs well).

A nice lift for the Steelers and their fans. Dick LeBeau, 71, informed the team that he will return for the 2009 season.

Guess Marino has some digging to do if he wants to finally get that monkey off his back.

Works for me. I watched that game (as I will this one) with a roomful of Stiller fans, and when one of them tried to defend the officiating, I openly started rooting for the 'Squawks.

Now I'm ticked that I didn't buy a Pat Tillman jersey when I was out there for a game in October.

You are compelled by truth and honesty to say it.

Tell me, was it so hard?

Jackson's just trying to keep Chris No-Hope from getting too grabby.

Of course, then the back judge (from . . . PITTSBURGH) had to get into the act . . .

    ;D

Since it's getting close to Sunday, I feel it's time for another shameless fangirl rant:

    GO CARDS!

I have said it before on this board. I watched a good bit of the first half on NFL Network tonight (it is still on) and I forgot just how many calls they blew in both directions.

And Ben, there had been some hand-fighting earlier in the route, but Hope did not have his hands on the receiver when he pushed off. By the rulebook, it was the right call. Was it enough of a push to warrant the flag? There, you can definitely make an argument.

I've gotten way behind on my SI's, just finished one from late September when an article anointed them the team to beat in the league's dominant conference. Oh yeah, it also said the Bills could replace the Pats at the top of the division, the Cards sucked and you should pick up JT O'Sullivan for your fantasy league team.
    Gotta love the NFL.
I guess my main gripe is that the people writing these articles and making these bold pronouncements have been covering the league and know that for the last 10 years the NFL has become the sports equivalent of a gumball machine.

I made a snack and watched Mick. That's all I can tolerate.

Parker's touchdown (at silent movie speed) is all you need to see.
