Santonio Holmes admits to dealing drugs when he was a kid. Apparently, he thought he could help turn kids away from dealing by coming out against it now. Of course, he got arrested a couple of months ago for marijuana possession, so it's kinda hard to see him as a role model on this subject.

Don't know if its a Super Bowl ad, but that "lick-off" between the the Mannings and the Williams is one of the lamest ads I've seen in a while.
Never understood the concept of the ad campaign anyway, and the execution is terrible.

Bam Morris thought dealing drugs after football was a better idea.

  4. Jerome Bettis dealt drugs as a kid in Detroit as well, some kids aren't brought up in the best of circumstances. Of course, if Santonio hadn't been busted for pot this season his message would carry a bit more weight. As it is, I'm sure many cringed when he went this route.

I know I did, though I guess his heart was in the right place. Given his entire history, it might have been best if he just kept quiet and played the game.

Bettis is from Detroit? I hadn't heard that.

Simeon Rice called Gruden a "scumbag."

Stuff like this is the only fun thing about Super Bowl week.

The hype machine made sure the Inuits knew it.

Good for Simeon... and he had a case to be SB MVP.

I agree with Rice, though he's always been something of a space cadet.

Every situation he noted was badly mishandled by Gruden. The team was a locker room wreck the two seasons after they won the Super Bowl, and he did nothing to fix that. Some were still too busy writing tired Chucky columns to drop the hammer.

Gruden can have as much charm as a hand grenade. I wonder if his shit would have been better sold if he were 15 years older. Or whether his all-around youthfulness worked against him.

LenDale White would vote for Phoenix's mayor in a heartbeat.
