    Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid.

Maybe that explains why Tomlin got the Steelers job and not Whisenhunt.

This is the same theory of 'holding for the last shot of a half' in basketball. Don't do ANYTHING that results in a turnover and dunk the other way.

As Warner was getting ready, I said to my son, "I don't like this one bit". I hate having to throw when you only need 2 yards. Hate it.

    And this is exactly why.

Arizona STILL has a good shot to win this, even with a coach who is 'outthinking the room'.

  2. Nah, I'll still take the Tyree catch. This game is still in the first half.

Well, while Steelers fans rarely get to feel disappointment like every fan of every other team in every sport imaginable, I at least hope it's painful for them to walk around every day with an ass full of horseshoes.

Buck's right. And so were the refs.

On the defense. The penalty was prior to the pass. Therefore, it was an offensive penalty and the Steelers' choices would've been:
    1) Their ball at the Arizona 1, and the half is over.
    or
    2) Take the penalty, and the Cards get backed up to about their 20 and get to kick a field goal.

Nothing in football is better than big defenders rumbling long distances with the ball.
Unfortunately it was crowded near the goalline, so he couldn't swan dive.

Warner likes throwing pick-sixes that get returned for 100 yards in the Super Bowl.

    Except this one counted.

Unless Arizona scores a TD and forces a Steelers punt to open the second half, that's a back-breaker, momentum-wise.

Bring on the geezers. Thank God the half ended just in time for the start of The Simpsons.
