Right now I don't see how she gets any votes in the final TC - which might make her a good person to bring along.
"You want to know why I picked her instead of you? Because nobody will vote for her! And they would vote for you. I want to win. Jeff, where do I pick up my check?

Sadly, that's a good point. I'd love to see her get bounced, but that makes a lot of sense.

There have been people dragged to the finals for that reason who have won. I don't like Kass on any level, but she is playing the game and I'd rather someone like that win than someone who stays under the radar until the merge and then gets carried to the finals because they're aligned with the right person.

    It's 6-3, but that's no lock.
Kass knows she's No. 6 and could flip at the next opportunity, and there are several people on the majority side who could be coaxed over.

Doesn't mean it'll happen, but there's a lot of room for game play in the next few weeks. That six-person majority is not stable.

I think the biggest mistake most players make is when there seems to be a pecking order. "OK, we're in a 6-person alliance, but three of the people know they'll be the first ones gone if it comes down to it." They do it in a way where it always seems so obvious. That's why the first season was so brilliant, they basically said, "OK, this is our four-person alliance and when we're the last ones left, may the best player win." That's the way to keep people from flipping all over the place.

I find myself rooting for Woo, especially after the incident with Spencer's pants and the idol clue. I just don't see him making it to the final three unless he puts together a ridiculous run of winning immunity challenges. I'm also confused about the idol that Spencer found. Does it contain some sort of special power? Or is there another idol at the camp?

That said, if Woo can't win give the money to Jefra. Or at least keep her around until the finale.

That does happen, but when you're in a four-, five- or six-person group, the pecking order is real and people make the opposite mistake.
They get comfortable with it and let it play out, even though it hurts them.
It just happened to Gerv most recently. He was too caught up the alliance to realize if it played out to the end he couldn't win.

Denise turned on Malcolm at the final four, which was brilliant, but if Malcolm had won that final immunity she would've waited too long.

I think Spencer found a regular idol and the one with special powers is still out there.

Speculation is the special idol can be used after the vote.

Another simple rule of Survivor. Don't get into pissing matches with people. They might be the difference between getting a million dollars or getting voted off. The best players are able to vote people off with the victims figuring they did it because they were a "threat" rather than it being something personal.

I was rooting for Kass until two weeks ago.
Now I'm rooting for Tasha and/or Spencer.

There are already two people on the jury that will not vote for Kass under any circumstance.
She has made moves, but they are not good tactical moves.

So I'm undecided as to whether ousting LJ was a good move or bad move by Tony. On the one hand, I'm generally a proponent of eliminating everyone in the opposing alliance before turning on your own people. Even with a seemingly large advantage in numbers, the game can flip so quickly that it's usually worth it pick off the opposition one by one.

However, I'm also a big believer in voting out strong players as fast as possible after the merge, particularly physical threats because they could potentially string together enough immunity wins to destroy your plan.

Tony very likely threw away his alliance, and he and Woo will now probably have to join Spencer, Jeremiah and Tasha to advance. That can still work (this isn't Kass joining a five-person alliance at the bottom), but Tony may have also sacrificed jury votes with the move.

He's building a strong resume with big moves and controlling the game. If he gets to the end, I'd personally vote for him right now, but there's no telling if the people he's screwed will look at it objectively.

Right now, it seems like a two-horse race between Tony and Spencer, with Tasha possibly looming.

Jeffra still hasn't done anything. Woo continues to ride coattails (although I like him personally and think he's fairly entertaining). Jeremiah still hasn't done anything. Kass pissed off too many people, I think, and even if you look at her game objectively, I'd say she's largely made dumb moves. Trish isn't doing much either.

Well, last night Tony showed he has enough pull to get people to do what he wants, but I don't know that it was the smart move. Getting rid of LJ probably wasn't bad, but it certainly opened it up to get rid of someone else from the original alliance of six, that seemed pretty solid other than Tony.

They could have almost certainly rode that six to the Final 6 and then I'm guessing Tony would be the favorite because he plays a pretty good social game. Now, it's clear he's the leader and everyone will be, or at least should be, gunning for him every week the rest of the way.
