Todd was stupid too - if James had played the idol, he was dead. He should have voted for PG too (with James), so at least he'd get a tie if James did smarten up. (I don't know how they'd break it - another vote with him and Pg as the only possibilities? or the fire challenge? we'll never know). Plus, it would let James know he didn't vote for him, marking Amanda as the brains behind all the moves and maybe getting Todd some votes if he gets to the final 3 (assuming people are mad at Amanda, and don't reward her for being so sneaky).

I see a showdown coming between todd and amanda - which one is going to be smart enough and able to form an alliance with the weakest other players to give them the best chance to win in the end.

The problem is, if Amanda or Todd take PG or Eric with them, the rest of the jury might reward whichever one of those two makes it that far. So they pretty much have to team up with PG and Eric to take out the other (either Todd or Amanda), then turn on those two and take Denise and the skinny freak with them to the final 3. And there's always the risk that someone could start winning challenges and completely control the game.

Also, I guess the idols go back into the pot, so to speak, and someone may still find them again.

 

It looks like Amanda is going to align herself with Eric and PG, leaving Denise as the swing vote. I hope Todd and Courtney dont make it to final 3. Hate Courtney and dont like Todd very much. I'd like to see Eric, Amanda and Denise make it to the end with Eric or Amanda winning.

 

I think the producesrs have tried to make Todd look like the guy running the show, when it's been Amanda all the time.

That's probably why she'll win this battle with todd now - she's smart enough to know PG and Eric will be needed to get rid of Todd. But she better also be smart enough to turn on them right away after that (and team back up with courtney and denise) to prevent PG and Eric being in the final 3. Either of those 2 would get some votes - from their former tribemates, and maybe one or two others - for being able to make it to the end against all those odds. NOBODY will vote for Denise or Courtney if they're in the final 3, it's a gauranteed win for either Todd or Amanda.

Todd blew it a couple of ways - he might have been smart to tell James about Amanda's plan, then take out Amanda. They've made him look smart through the whole show, but he wasn't smart enough to realize Amanda is a bigger threat to him then James?

 

I think Denise could get some votes. She seems likable enough and does stuff around camp.

I think Amanda and Todd are fighting over who gets to take Courtney.

 

Denise has been too busy being wowed by the Buddhist temples and ancient culture....and she just seems along for the ride. Without a pony to hitch to, she's alone in this game.

 

If she plays things right now she can make at least the final three.

She's the swing vote next time, and if she goes with Amanda to take out Todd, she, Amanda and Courtney could then take out PG and Eric and be the final three.

Easy, actually.

 

But she hasn't developed a base for winning the game. Amanda would dust her.

 

"This is probably the biggest mistake I'm going to make in this game." Then why do it Denise? Unless she wins a couple immunity challenges, which I doubt, she just cost herself any chance she had at winning.

 

So how funny was skinny-ass Courtney tonight?! I was bummed they voted off Erik, I was hoping for Todd.

And who knew Denise was married?!? ...to a man!

 

I'm glad Courtney said what everyone was thinking regarding Todd's sister, but I can't believe she'd be so insensitive about it. That's a future mother of the year right there. PG is tough, I wouldn't be surprised if she won a couple more immunity challenges and ended up winning the thing.

 

Was anyone else completely disappointed by Amanda's sister? I was at least expecting a semi-hottie coming from that same gene pool. Major letdown.
