I think in this type of a season, the last thing they need is hidden immunity idols. I'd rather see who emerges as the best player or get dragged to the end by the best player.

Tyson has never struck me as a physically strong guy, Russell has. I remember in Samoa that challenge when he moved the big ass square log things. Dude's got strength.

He's also coming into the game in shape, having only a month or whatever between seasons.

Maybe you're right. I guess I've just never thought of Russell as particularly strong or athletic, or anything -- never noticed him at the forefront of challenges, or whatnot.

Maybe that was because he always seemed to be keeping a low profile during them, though, and he does look like he's in a little better shape now than when he played in Samoa. I'll have to keep a better eye on him henceforth, and see.

russell sure looked like he had some strength on the last immunity challenge. and i can't recall tyson ever showing any real athleticism.

Tyson did well in that endurance challenge where the contestants stand atop a pillar and try not to fall off IIRC but he was never a big muscular guy, especially as the season wore down.

And isn't he supposedly a professional cyclist? Any actual pro athlete should clean up on the challenges.

Yeah, if they're endurance and/or cardio based but being able to ride a bike doesn't necessarily mean you can bench press more than 20 pounds. I'd take pre Samoa Russell over any version of Tyson in any physically-demanding challenge any day of the week.

Thought the same thing too when Probst came galloping out of the jungle ahead of the medical team.
