Even with All-Stars, a lot will come down to the jury Q&A at the end, something Russell sucks at. I think Sandra did very well with it on the season she won. If you think about it, Sandra, who isn't afraid to smart off to anyone, has never had her name written down by anyone (except to win $1 million) in two seasons of this show, so no one can tell me she doesn't know how to play this game.

I didn't watch the last few episodes the season she won. I know Fairplay finished third that time. Who did Sandra beat in the finals?

All your points are very valid. I still hope she doesn't win. It would be a shitty ending to a great season.

I've liked Sandra, and she's much more deserving than Natalie was when she beat Russell.
Sandra is playing, not just coasting.

She's definitely doing more than Natalie was.

What I thought was interesting was that despite Sandra winning the million, her husband is still on active duty in the military. Not that I expected them to retire on a half mil after taxes, but still a little surprising...

People who join the military, especially when a draft is not in place, often do so for reasons and ideals that they consider better and higher than money, and that go beyond it.

Also, once made, a military commitment is not necessarily easy to just get out of whenever you want. Aren't there usually terms of service that you need to complete if you want an honorable discharge and access to future benefits?

Maybe the husband has his own, good career going, and doesn't want to give it up.

True, and I respect the hell out of him for it.

And judging by the hat she wears, he's an enlisted man, Sergeant First Class (E7). Certainly not a low rank, but definitely not the top of the pay scale. Just another reason for me to root for her.

And maybe he just doesn't want to go home to her!

During my plane ride with Big Tom, he told me that they encourage the players to talk about the sponsors as much as possible.

Hey, I like a bloomin' onion as much as the next guy. I'm not putting on airs.
