That's not really Survivor though. Sounds more like The Ultimate Fighter. Love the idea, just not for this show. Part of the fun is seeing if alliances will hold post-merge.

I'm guessing Survivor 25 will be some sort of special season, maybe a Pros vs. Rookies type of season where one tribe consists of all-stars and another consists of newbies.

A Survivor of just winners might work.

I think the only way it could work would be if you cut the number down considerably and had 10-12 of the best players in show history go at it. The problem is, the bulk of that group just played in the most recent season.

How about a season of 16 castaways duking it out normally and then, when the tribes merge at eight, they find out that they're going to go up against eight all-stars, effectively meaning they've got to work together to get rid of the all-stars to get to the million dollar prize?

Don't be so sure Russell will get any more reality gigs if the recent charge of beating up a teenage girl sticks.

Russell and Parvati teaming on The Amazing Race is already rumored.

Outside of Survivor, Russ and Parv might be a pretty good team. Both cutthroat. She does the charm, he does the dirty work.

I've seen more than enough of Russell and wouldn't care if he ever played in anything again.

I also don't think he'd be very good on the Amazing Race, which generally has a whole different concept, approach and tone.
