I just hope Stephanie sticks around for a couple months. Man, is she easy on the eyes.

Yeah, I feel the same way about Amanda. Great googly moogly.

I am sick of Russell, and Russell's voice, already.

I love how Jeff picked right up where he left off with the jabs at Coach, how tough he is, how good at everything his is, like kayaking.

    Funny stuff.

JT is awesome. Still. I thought Tyson's one comment, about Colby being a woman because Coach beat him, was an example of what I was afraid this season would be: villains playing to the camera even more than they did the first time around.

Sandra is the most boring player ever, let alone the most boring winner. What did she ever do before taking off that bra to be a villain? She was anything BUT that in her season.

I must have missed the season when JT played.

Tom is definitely the smartest player there. Winning again would seem nearly impossible, but I could see him doing it. I'm rooting for the villains, but if a hero wins, I hope it's Tom or Rupert or Colby.

Agree on Amanda... Gorgeous. Probably best-looking in show history.

  6. Sandra is nothing but snarky. She's definitely a villain.

Lots of good stuff over on EW.com:
MUST READ! Dalton's take on the first episode: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20343684,00.html -- I figured editing played a big role, but this is rather different. I had no idea.

JT's season wasn't very long ago. I think it was last spring, the one before Russell's first season. It was the season with Taj, Eddie George's wife, and Tyson, who's a villain this season. Basically, JT was so well-liked everyone knew he would win and still no one had any ambition whatsoever to vote him out.

And I just can't agree on Amanda. She's hot, for sure, but She just doesn't do anything that special for me. I appear to be in a real minority on that one.

Holy crap, that was some serious manipulative editing by the producers even moreso than we've come to expect on these shows.

The Heroes were up 4-0, won the best-of-5 challenge 5-2 but the show made it seem like it was a 2-1 victory. Shady!

That's a shame. You missed a great season. Between Coach going all bananas on Exile Island to the Taj/Eddie George reunion to Stephen's horrific final tribal council, that season had a ton of great moments.

According to Entertainment Weekly, none of the Survivors ever saw anything from Russell's season.

But then how were they speaking so knowingly about him being a great player? Just because he's in an all-star season?

They said the Heroes vs. Villains started filming before the last season even started airing.

I remember reading about how Richard Hatch wasn't going to be able to participate in this season and that was before Survivor 19 had started yet.
